This has to be one of the flashiest cookware sets on the market. The highly polished stainless steel is mirrorlike. The 9-piece set includes a 2-quart saucepan with cover, 3-quart saucepan with cover, 8-quart covered stockpot, 10-inch skillet, and 5-quart covered sauté pan with extra "helper" handle. Each piece is made from a five-ply construction, which fuses an aluminum core between layers of stainless steel. The result is wonderful heat transference across the bottom and up the sides. Bottoms are permanently stamped with size and capacity. Special deep-draw lids ensure a tighter seal and minimize rattling. Each handle is individually cast of stainless steel, designed to accommodate large hands, and secured with polished stainless-steel rivets. They're also comfortably curved, stay cool to the touch on the stovetop, and are oven-safe up to 500 degrees F.
